KH OC: Lina Lockster (VERY detailed) BIO.

My. God. It's finally. FINISHED.
Been working for months on this one.
I hope she turned out alright and you guys will love her as much as I do.
I tried my best so she wouldn't mess up the BBS timeline. xD
Please tell me what you think of her. (Yes, she can befriend other ocs too, depending on their timelines though.
Although once after she's woken up by Kairi, she can befriend others who are not bbs ocs too. c: }

 Name: Lina Lockster {Meaning ’Light’ in Greek}.

 Age: 13 {Before Kh1 events,  travelling back in bbs timeline}, 4{ in bbs timeline}, 15-16 {after woken up by Kairi}.

 Species: Human, Sorceress.

 Gender: Female.

 Sexual Orientation: Straight.

 Homeworld: Enchanted Dominion.

 Life Story:  Not much is known about her past, since Lina doesn’t like talking about it. She’s Maleficent’s only daughter, so it’s only natural that she inherited a great amount of magical power from her mother. Unlike her mother, Lina’s personality seemed to be the opposite. While she did have dark powers, for some reason, they have been sealed by an unknown powerful spell shortly after her birth. (It was done by Fauna, Fiona and Merryweather to prevent the child to take her mother’s footsteps.) So her powers were replaced with white magic. Maleficent couldn’t accept and was very infruated that her daughter had no dark and had such pure magical powers, so she threw Lina under many experiments for years in hopes to lift the seal of her dark powers.                             

      Years later, when she was around five years old, another  ’person’, a girl, merged from Lina’s heart after she mentally broke down from the cruel experiments. The girl turned out to be Lina’s other self, from an alternate universe, where her dark powers were not sealed, but enchanted. Maleficent was very pleased to see the other girl and named her Leila. She treated Leila much better and grew to care about her more than about Lina, ever. Lina was ignored more than ever by everyone. The little girl had decided that she’d only depend on herself and her good and innocent personality started changing drastically. She’s become more selfish and rebellious. Lina grabbed every opportunies to make her mother mad. It could be described that she tried to get her attention this way and wanted to be recognized more. It was around that time she swore to herself that she’d stop her mother no matter what.

     As years passed by, Lina noticed that Leila and Maleficent were starting to get really powerful and unstoppable. The worlds were being destroyed by Heartless daily, people became desperate and hurt. She knew this present wasn’t supposed to be this way. She knew she had to act. So she ran away from home in hopes to find a really powerful wizard, whom she heard a lot about and read in books: Yen Sid. After she found him and told him about her theories, Yen Sid soon accepted her in and trained her to be his apprentice, along with King Mickey.

     One day, Yen Sid invited Lina over for a talk. He told her that this present indeed wasn’t supposed to be this way and had to be changed. When Leila has merged from Lina’s heart, it made Maleficent a lot stronger than she should’ve been in the first place. Yen Sid assigned Lina go back in time to travel worlds and stop Leila before it’s too late. She’s also got a task to protect Destiny Island’s, because it turned out later that Leila’s first priority was to destroy that Island.

 So Lina’s got a Star Shard simliar to Mickey’s and travelled back 9 years in time. What she did not know that Leila had also followed her, in order to put an end to her life and lift the seal of her dark magic as well.

 While visiting new worlds, Lina’s eyes opened up and noticed that she absolutely adored travelling.    

    Her first stop was Enchanted Dominion, her homeland in the past. She’s started exploring the halls and rooms, only finding strange creatures (unversed) who attacked her for no reason. After fighting down a few of them and running away, she’s heard her mother’s and another man’s voices. She quickly barged into Aurora’s room, only to find the man (Terra)  under Maleficent’s spell. Before she could cry  ’stop!’, Terra stole the princess’ heart. Maleficent turned to the newcomer’s way and told her that she had no time for intruders. So Maleficent, who still had Terra under her control, manipulated Terra to fight Lina and quickly disappeared from sight. Lina tried to stop her, but Terra got in the way and attacked her with his keyblade. He was simply too strong for Lina, she did not stand any chance, no matter how many spells she used against him. A thought hit her and she’s quickly cast a windy shield spell around herself to distract and slow him down a little. Then she closed her eyes and chanted a curse lifting spell on him, making Terra finally come to his senses. After some talk, Terra and Lina heard a thremor and found an unversed, called the Wheel Master. After they took care of it together, Lina and Terra parted ways, since Lina wanted to stay a little while to confront her mother. Terra thanked Lina’s help and promised her that he’d fight against his darkness no matter what. When Lina found her mother, Maleficent noted that she has unusual powers as well, a little different and opposite than her’s, but still simliar. She quickly realized that Lina must be her ’useless’ daughter from the future. Lina, infruated by her mother’s coldness, declared that her only mission is to stop her and her plans. Maleficent waved her off, saying that Lina had to grow up to even scratch her and disappeared, laughing. Lina, still mad, drew out the Star Shard and headed out into the next world to continue her mission.

  In Dwarf Woodlands, she’s met the dwarfs who have been chasing an old woman.  She asked them what they were doing, so a teary faced one explained her that queen killed Snow White. Seeing no time to hesitate, Lina offered her help and began chasing the queen alongside the dwarfs. Right before she was about to battle the queen, her alternate universe self, Leila, appeared and teamed up with the queen, against Lina. Before the battle started, Leila explained that she also had travelled back in time, with the help of Maleficent’s powers and her own. It was a tough battle, but with the help of the seven  dwarfs, Lina managed to win against her alternate universe self and the Queen. After she lost, Leila started grinning evilly, saying that Lina’s dark powers’ seal have started lifting. Then a maniacially laughing Leila left a shocked and speechless Lina to her thoughts. Since Lina couldn’t help any more, she bid farewell to the dwarfs and left to the next world. {She’s arrived there after Terra and Ventus, but before Aqua.}

 The young sorceress continued her journey, eventually meeting with the rest of Terra’s friends, Aqua {in Castle of Dreams} and Ventus {Radiant Garden}. She bumped into them some more times, leading them to become closer friends. Lina looked up to Aqua’s braveness and viewed her as an older sister she never had. She sometimes got into small arguments with Ven, regardless, they became close friends as well. 

She regulary visited Yen Sid of this time and he explained her how to become stronger: kill the unversed. Since Lina’s magic dictionary stood mostly of light, healing and shamanistic (earth, fire, water, ice, etc.) spells, sometimes she noticed that fighting with certain unversed made her weaker and her body uncosiously defended her by casting high unknown dark spells unknown to her on its own. This scared the young witch, because she suspected that the seal casted on her began to weaken.  Yen Sid confirmed her fears: since there were two Lina in this time (her and her child-self), the seal has become weaker because it couldn’t seal the person’s magic if there were two of them, thus the two seals started to cancel eachother. This meant that the little Lina was in great danger.

So Lina had to go to Maleficent’s castle to take the child. She had to fight her mother there in the end. Maleficent’s powers were still superior to Lina and she almost finished her daughter, leading Lina’s dark powers taking control over her body again. Lina, who was controlled by her powers, defeated Maleficent, making her severly injured. Maleficent now knew that fear and an enemy, possesing great dark magic was the key to lift the seal. Since she wasn’t in condition to fight anymore, she used a corridor of darkness and escaped. Once Lina came to her senses again, she quickly ran to find her younger self. Once she found her, Lina hugged her and told the crying child that everything will be alright, then took her to Yen Sid’s tower.

She’s also encourented Vanitas, who also teamed up with Leila {will write about that one in Leila’s story}.  With Vanitas’ sacrastic and smug personality, she quickly disliked him without the help of her counterpart anyway. Together, the two easily outmatched Lina, but Mickey stepped in the way and escaped with the uncosious girl.
  After that, Mickey took her to Disneyland, where they chatted for a little while, he explained that Yen Sid found out how to defeat Leila for good: In a final countdown, both of them need to die, since Leila’s life powers were feeding off of Lina’s, and neither of them were supposed to exist in the first place. Despite knowing that she was going to die, Lina kneeled down before Mickey, smiled, and told him that she won’t die, because she needs to visit more worlds and her friends also need her. Mickey looked up at her worriedly, but Lina smiled and winked at him confidently, lifting her Star Shard to leave. Before leaving though, Ven ran over, in mind to confront Lina about her actions. The girl just smiled at the confused boy and disappeared from sight.

 Their final battle took place in Enchanted Dominion once again. Leila was pleased that Lina’s gotten stronger, so now they were even. Neither of them could  outmatch the other for a long time. Then Leila unleashed all of her dark magic powers and fired them at Lina. This forced Lina’s body to absorb Leila’s magic, leading Lina’s body to be consumed and full with darkness. However, unbeknownst to Leila, Lina did the same, firing her light and white magic at Leila. With the powers  now in different bodies, they begain clashing with eachother, making the minds and hearts fuse. Their bodies disappeared, but both of their hearts took shelter in the little Lina’s, making the little one to fall into a comatose state, because of Leila’s powers. Yen Sid, upon realizing the child won’t wake up for a long time, told Mickey to take her away to the Disney Castle, so she could be safe there.

 Since then, she’s  sleeping at Disney Castle, far and safe from her Mother, with Queen Minnie watching over her body. Years later, she wakes up with the help of Kairi..

 

 ABOUT HIM/HER:

 Personality:  Lina is considered as a Tsundere. According to others, she’s bossy, short tempered  and loudmouthed. {The last personality is because of her past, since she was ignored for years and she now wants to be noticed.} Of course she waves those off, telling them she’s just way  too much for them to handle. She likes things go her way and isn’t afraid to voice herself if she needs to. She’s very confident in herself and in her abilities. Lina’s also very optimistic and ralery shows pessimistic emotions, only fear.  Sometimes she shows her sweet side once she’s opened up, but mostly she’s putting up a front infront of others.

 Good Habit(s):  She becomes a loyal friend and would go great lenghts just to make sure her friends are safe.  She never gives up on hope either. She’s also a total optimist, which comes in handy in some situations.

 Bad Habit(s): Since Lina’s bossy and short tempered, she tends to get into fights and arguments quite easily. She also hates depending on others. Lina’s also a smartass and loves rubbing in people’s faces when she’s right at something.

 Like(s): Magic, nature, adventures, travelling, learning rare and old magic spells, reading, being right.

 Dislike(s): Being teased, Vanitas, Maleficent, Leila, someone getting hurt because of her, frogs.

 Hobbies: When she’s alone, she loves reading magic books and practicing magic. She sometimes sings, but only when makes sure she’s completely alone.

 Fears: Failing to protect someone important and FROGS.

 Ambition/Life-long Dream:  To become a stronger sorceress and to stop her mother and Leila.
